More data from one device, with a platform that is easy to use.
Designed with farmers to measure soil moisture, soil temperature, humidity, bruising and location for a better view of crop performance all season.
No wires. No antennas, gateways, or routers. No calibration.
Powered by existing cellular towers and proprietary software, the Soiltech wireless moisture sensor provides insights farms need to manage operations without difficult setup or extra equipment.

Simple installation.
Remove copper strips.
Plant in the ground.
…That’s it.
The device automatically shows up in the app, connects to your account, reads the soil type, calibrates, monitors moisture levels, and collects data.

Full season information

From planting to storage, this one device monitors many conditions that can be adjusted to optimize quality.
The Soiltech sensor records moisture, temperature, bruising, humidity, and location to help monitor crop performance year-round.

Multiple ways to measure, improve, and save
Save water.
Knowing if you received enough water to skip an irrigation cycle can save hundreds.
Reduce fuel and labor.
Save gallons of fuel and hours of worker time when you know when and if to visit a field.
Improve performance.
Increase yields and optimize equipment with data and alerts that detail crop conditions and handling.

What our customers are saying…

“The industry has needed something that rethinks old technology and makes it new. Soiltech brings new technology and a fresh approach to monitoring a whole field at a competitive price.”
- Luke Radford, Agronomist, Moss Farms
“Everyone goes out to the field to check moisture, but there is a lot of variability in how that is determined.
Soiltech provided a technology that could eliminate that variability, set a ground rule for what the moisture is, and calibrate accordingly.”
- Jared Cook, Consultant for Fertilizer and Crop Protection, Rocky Mountain Agronomics

“The Soiltech app makes it easy to see the data. When you don’t have time to go drive out to dig into a field, you can pull up the app, look at the readings real-time, and see that you are okay to wait to visit the field.”
- Adam Nielson, Co-Owner, Nielsen Farms
“The Soiltech sensor actually provides the soil temperature. There has never been something you could track and compare to give you more insight into what is happening at the seed or root level compared to the outside temperature.”
- Blake Matthews, Matthews Land and Cattle

About us
After seeing firsthand the importance a quality crop has on a farmers' livelihood, and the time and effort involved in manually monitoring crop conditions, Soiltech set out on a mission to make the process of measuring soil moisture easier. Other options placed too much burden on the farmer to install, learn, and manage.
Working hand-in-hand with farmers has allowed Soiltech to incorporate additional functionality to enhance the grower’s ability to track, measure, and control crop quality, all with the goal of allowing farmers to more easily view multiple variables that impact crop performance. Deep manufacturing and telecommunications experience made it possible for Soiltech to create a scaleable and seamless solution. Soiltech's sensors are currently used throughout the United States and Canada.
